We are making great progress on the New Upper School Building! Please watch this video to see some exciting visuals of the construction and to learn more about the progress that has been made to date on the project.

Another major milestone was met in April. The Level One post-tensioned concrete deck was formed, poured, stripped, and stressed! The Exxel team has been hard at work getting the deck coordinated, inspected and ready for concrete. At the end of the month, they built the wood framing layout, de-stressed the tiebacks in the basement walls, and patched the existing holes. 

Beginning in May, the team will start placing bearing and shear walls between Levels One and Two. After that, they will install glulam timbers and frame the northeast staircase. At the end of the month, the team will move from the temporary trailers into the basement storage room as the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work begins.
