February was an exciting month for the New Upper School Building! Mother Nature threw us a few curve balls with snow and freezing temperatures one week and sunny skies the next, but great progress was made. Perimeter wall and column concrete footings were poured, along with the elevator pit slab. Reinforcing steel was placed for the basement shotcrete walls and the first few shots took place at the end of the month.
March will focus on concrete work and we’ll start preparing the Level 1 slab for steel reinforcement and post-tensioning by early April if not sooner!
